Welcome to the new StopBadware!

StopBadware's got a brand new bag, and by "bag" we mean website. It's been a long time comin', but today we're happy to finally unveil the new (and yes, also improved)! We might still be working a few kinks out over the next couple of days, so if you experience a momentary hiccup, please bear with us. Overall, though, we think this shiny new site will serve our users (hey, that's YOU!) a lot better than our old one.

A few things we'd like to point out:

  • A much more comprehensive Webmaster Help section, complete with a long list of third party resources for cleaning up website badware and securing sites.
  • A visually re-designed Clearinghouse: you can still search for badware and request or update independent reviews the same way you've always been able to.
  • A great new Partner page full of the companies we're proud to work with to make a safer Web.
  • A new blog layout consistent with the rest of our new site...but with all the same badware insights, Partner parties, and sci-fi references you're used to hearing from us.

We're excited about our digital transformation. If you're running into problems or have constructive feedback, you can contact us. If, on the other hand, you just want to give us a virtual high five to celebrate our site's rebirth, feel free to flip us a tweet, get timeline-y with us, or tell the wider Internet how excited you are. Thanks for your support during this process!
