StopBadware and CloudFlare partner: A safer Web is imminent!

Posted on October 5, 2012 - 09:52 by ccondon

We've known the good people at CloudFlare for a couple of years now. CloudFlare security gurus have participated in some of our working groups, we've talked to them about warnings and other user education initiatives, and we've exchanged security high-fives and awkward ultra-graceful fist bumps at conferences. Today it's our pleasure to announce that CloudFlare is the newest StopBadware Partner.

Like the other great companies in our partner network, CloudFlare is doing cool things for the Web: they protect and accelerate websites by routing web traffic through their intelligent global network, and they help protect sites (and site visitors!) from badness like abusive bots, spam, DDoS attacks, and other nasty things. As part of our new partnership, CloudFlare will be providing business-level services to StopBadware. CloudFlare will also join our Partners Forum conversations and contributing their perspective to our increasingly diverse discussions on security, user education, and the integrity of the Web.

CloudFlare’s core mission is to help clean up the Internet. If you’re familiar with StopBadware, you probably realize that cleaning up the Internet and making it a safer place for all users is what we live and breathe, every day. We’re excited to add to our partner network one more company focused on protecting websites for the good of the Web as a whole.
