Technical Data ReportWe're aiming to gather as much data as we can from technically savvy internet users to help us identify and put a spotlight on the worst badware creators. We're also working on standards so that software authors can know what is good and bad. This means trying to find out what it is that people really, really don't like about badware. In the long term, we're working on some interesting ways to do this automatically. In the meantime, we want to get started - and that means asking you to use an awkward web form. We realize we are asking for a lot of data here, and we know not all of it is easy to obtain. If you can't do it, just leave it blank, and explain in the 'comments' section why you couldn't or wouldn't, so that we can refine our questions and methodology. To learn more about what we do with the information you submit, and how it helps, check out the FAQ, and our privacy policy. If you're really confused by all these questions, that's OK. You don't have to be technically oriented to help us fight. Tell us your badware horror story and help us publicize the nasty impacts of badware. |
